Im sorry to hear that chip  Its hard to lose a loved one, pet or person its hard. Just remember the good times and that you saved her and gave her a great life that without you she wouldn't have had that.

A Oolong formosa was the newest tea Ive tried and ironically Its in my cup today :o Its proably not the freshest but Its inspired me to get some better Oolong this spring.

A recent food/tea discovery is eating these tasty Japanese crackers with sencha. They seem made to go together.
Oh, heck, those little crackers go with everything! I used to drive to the fresh market to get them and then they changed their mix . . . now we're not sure what to do!

Hagen Daaz Vanilla is in my teacup tonight. I went for two long walks, so I decided to go for it.

Yes, the specific mix of those things is critical.

Sorry about Honi Belle, Chip.

I think the newest tea that I have tried was the random ceylon black tea that I picked up at the organic store. Prior to that was a bunch of teas from the Oolong box pass.

Currently, my cup is empty because I just finished up the Earl Grey that was in it.

Sorry to hear about your cat, Chip.

*hugs Chip*

I'm sorry to hear that Chip, I lost my kitty Dusty to cancer last year, it was very sad when I realized she wasn't going to last to the next day. :(

Several new teas for me lately... all green including Kiri no Mori matcha... Genmaicha Extra Green, Sakura Sencha, and powdered sencha... all very delicious.

Chip, so sorry about Honi. :( You will be in my thoughts.

In my last cup tonight... Darjeeling #1 from Adagio.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

Thank you everyone for your warm thoughts. Honi Belle passed on tonight a little after midnight. She never appeared to be in any pain which was a blessing.

She used to sit right here in front of me while I was on TeaChat and would swat my face with her claws ever so slightly extended, just enough to get my attention without fail. She wanted to let me know that she also needed attention, more importantly than TeaChat.

Perhaps this is why it has been difficult to be on TeaChat the last couple days.

Hey Chip. May I offer a toast to those lives that touch ours as we make our own journeys.

Have a good night folks.

So sorry to hear of Honi Belle, Chip. She sounds like she was just grand, with lots of character.

A surprising "new tea" for me: BLU HIMALAYA, a Nepalese oolong from Ilam region. Silvery tips and a fresh "muscatel" note that reminds of DJ 2nd flush

Been mostly away from my computer for a couple of days...I saw this TeaDay poll yesterday, but never got back to it...

Last new tea for me would have been Yunnan Jig...last of my Black samples.

Yesterday, I shared a rather dull infusion of Keemun Concerto with my son at breakfast. I had not gotten much flavor from this one before so I jacked up the amount of leaf. We both decided it was just kind of dull for us.

My tea buddy at work brewed up some Assam for us..that was pretty tasty.

Alas, I was out of pocket for pretty much the rest of the day/evening and didn't get any more tea.

Chip, I am sorry to read about your kitty. I was glad to see that you said she didn't seem to be in much pain. She and you were both lucky that your paths crossed.

Take care all,
Dreamer
