That's because HA(gi) alphabetically precedes HO(juko).
Have a good night

Just sharing a picture of my teapot. Was inspired by the many nice pictures on the internet. Hopefully my collection will grow and my photography skills will improve.

Ah! I was going to get that a few months ago but have been getting royally ****ed by the economy. It's still on my radar, can't wait until I can afford it.

New gaiwan!
Also my first, one of two received from DTH.
Residing inside is Dong Ding from Teaspring.
More pictures to come of the other one.
We were fated to pretend.

Impressive collection, Marshaln, so what is your total Yixing pot count?
A "new" 20 year old chawan just arrived from Japan. I am hoping to break it in tonight. It is Kyoto style by EIKOU MIYAJI. 3 important Japanese symbols:
The crane (which is beautifully crafted bas relief right into the clay/ceramic which is very impressive.
Especially since I thought it was just painted on. Very cool!)
The sun which frames the crane
And the water/sea.
Smooth creamy/ivory glaze typical of Kyoto style which feels so foreign to hands that have held mostly Hagi chawan-s. The colors are rich and regal!
Can you tell that I love it and am very impressed by it?
