It is my Muslim name, by which I sometimes go, so I voted real name even though its not in any books.

My mom used to call me Geeber when I was little (and unfortunately still does now - many years later.)

I found out last year, right after joining this forum, that there is a drug connotation to my nickname. I wasn't thrilled with that!

Had some Keemun Rhapsody this morning at home and am now enjoying a mug of Fujian Baroque. We are having a donut fundraiser for the American Cancer Society today and the aroma of the Fujian is distracting me from the sweet donut smell!

Prone-shuss ... I think. But my Irish is admittedly a bit rusty!

Chamekke means "playfulness" in Japanese. The first kanji in the word is of course cha or tea. I've never managed to find out why the root of playfulness is "tea" (it may actually have to do with having brown or "tea-coloured" eyes?), but the idea enchanted me so I ran with it :)

Well Dani is my name. And there's a long story behind the bob part. But I think I just tacked that onto there because Dani was taken and I tend to just call everything 'bob'. I have a tattoo on my arm and his name is bob.

Having a nice black tea blend with brunch.

Yet another fun poll question!!!

"Dreamer" is just a name I made up when I registered for another tea forum...tea, especially matcha, is so calming and energizing that it seems as if every good thing is not only possible, but likely.

Have a dreamy weekend,
Dreamer

I'm really liking the topic today! Not that I don't like the topics every day, but this one is especially fun. :)

I'm sick of my name. I'd like to change it to Flash Infusion. Chip, can you make that happen?

I'm enjoying some rice cooker-roasted Shan Lin Xi. The house smells like flaming pumpkin and burnt popcorn after a failed first attempt, but this stuff is actually pretty freakin' good.

No alternative, online persona for me. I am truly whom my name suggests.

Hou de's Zheng-Yen Shui Xian this morning with Kaboku in late afternoon.

Actually name changes are possible through your friendly forum mod! But ... be sure of what you want. 8) Repeated changes are frowned upon. :(

Fukamushi Supreme a la O-Cha was my last session. Incredibly good.

Mine is a handle, I guess. I use it for emails and other usernames... it's easy to remember. I'm from Kentucky, and I'm a Certified Nurse-Midwife... so, KYMidwife. I get the KY Jelly comments on a regular basis, I'm used to it. :D

Darjeeling Puttabong FF 2009 from Tea Emporium has been in my cup most of the day... and matcha early this morning, because I needed it BAD.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

I use my 'sanskrit' name for anything not related to my working life. It's been made modifying a Khmer king's name (which was Jayavarman, meaning conquering weapon). Mine means 'conquering jewel', so, as opposed to the war name of a king, now it has more to do with peace (& prosperity ;)).
