I want a kyusu with a screen-style filter for fukamushi. After that, some classy cups would be nice.

I'm trying to use up sample leftovers, so I just finished making several small fridge containers of iced tea.

A quiet day on the forum. 8)

I had Fukamushi Maki from Den's earlier that was very good.

And more recently Tenkei Hana Matcha from Yuuki-Cha with my wife that was exceptional and is all gone. :(

Complacency went bye-bye.

Priorities have been reshuffled. Tea and teaware are low on my priority list until life settles into its new groove.

Irish Breakfast this morning. Missed my window for green tea, oh well.

Yeah! I hope that means everybody was out enjoying a nice day!

I spent the day with the Menghai 7532.... got a few things done. Not too bad.

Now if only the trees would stop launching pollen into the air and onto my car...

I hope things settle for you soon. I might be in the same boat by the end of the year.

Sencha Takumi with supper. I just ordered some Benifuki tea from Maiko. Benifuki is one of the Japanese green tea varietals that are supposed to suppress the symptoms of hay fever. I tried drinking Yutaka Midori when pollen season began but I couldn't detect any difference, and I'm planning to try surugawase too but the fermentation supposedly kills whatever it is that suppresses the symptoms. Yutaka Midori and Surugawase are also supposed to exhibit the suppression property. I'll let you all know if Maiko's Benifuki tea helps.

There are a few things that I want or have my eye on. I would like a smaller kyusu with a metal screen filter. I love the size of my 5oz little kyusu, but the ball filter clogs easily with fukamushi though it brews asamushi fantastically. I would also like a 16oz ceramic pot for filling up my travel mug. Both pots are ideas that I have that I would like to get eventually and when I see the right one, I will know it and end up getting it, but I haven't quite found the right one yet.

I would also like a yumoni that holds between 8 and 12 ounces. My main criteria is that it is relatively light weight and preferably hand-made instead of mass produced. After falling in love with my 6oz cup which is hand-made, I would love to find a similar feel, but with a larger capacity. The little flaws and uniqueness make it so much more enjoyable for me to use. I've been drooling over numerous ones on Etsy and a few of the Hagi ones, but I haven't gotten around to justify purchasing one yet.

Currently in my cup is mugi-genmai hold the cha. I finally got some barley to try roasting my own mugicha. I haven't tried doing the roasting part yet, but will hopefully be able to try it tomorrow. I also got a new travel mug today, which made me happy since my current one is falling apart. The outside of the new one is a nice shade of pale pink.

Hi All,

No, I don't have anything on my "gotta have it" teaware list. I'm waiting on a couple of matcha bowls I'm having made by an etsy vendor (I checked about them today...one had something dropped on it on its way into the kiln and had to be remade...it may be two more weeks...arghh!)

I would like a couple/three nice aroma cup sets, because I've so enjoyed the aroma of both oolongs I've tried so far, but I'm not drinking enough to justify the purchase. Someone here turned me on to this set from Dragon Tea House

If I order the cups, I might try this tea

Has anyone tried it? The description sounds like something I'd really enjoy!

This was a fun poll question...it was interesting reading the wish lists and seeing some pictures of things that people are looking to get. Hopefully some folks got some good leads on things they have been looking for.

Joy,
Dreamer

Wenshan Baozhong is great Taiwan green oolong, very lightly oxidized. I like it quite a lot.

However I am always hesitant, justifiably or not, to order a Taiwan oolong from a Chinese vendor. I never had it from DTH.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
