Next up today was dribs and drabs from the bottom of some sencha bags. It was OK, but not too exciting. And last was a FF Darjeeling sample compliments of th "A" team. I cannot remember the estate, but I think I needed to brew it longer as DW thought it lacked flavor as well. Very nice fruity aroma though, just very thin tasting.
I feel like I need another tea to make of for 2 sub par sessions.............
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
I have no honest idea. I tend to drag more in the middle of the week, but given that I am doing quite well in tea drinking today and that today is Monday, perhaps yes, sometimes I do drink more tea on Mondays.
I am currently very tea buzzed on Yutaka Midori. Fifth steep just went into my cup. I came to the conclusion that it would be an excellent thing to start the day with since I am incredibly wired from the tea, but now I have to figure out how exactly to work actually drinking tea in the morning prior to the commute. The main issue is that I brew my morning tea in my Den's kyusu because three steeps fill up my travel mug and thermos perfectly and that same kyusu works the best for any deep steamed sencha since my other kyusu clogs too easily and makes a complete mess with any type of fine leaves. The only conclusions I came up with is to get more tea, as in ones I could brew in a different vessel like a gaiwan, or an asamushi sencha that wouldn't clog my clay screened kyusu, or get another kyusu with a metal screen.

Re: Explanation for the Monday Morning Blues
So that is what's going on Mondays! There is no doubt I drink more tea most Mondays, especially in the afternoon. Sometimes I even have a coffee to keep my engine purring.Intuit wrote:Excess consumption of stimulants on Monday morning has been shown to correspond to a pattern of abnormal sleep patterns over the week ..... Sleeping in late pushes back breakfast time on the weekend and can lengthen cortisol peak decay, delaying sleep hormone onset at night, and resulting in poor quality sleep Sunday night, leaving you tired on Monday morning.
So far today I'm running on shincha from this morning and an Americano this afternoon. Long Jing is in my very near future.

Kuding Cha
Yesterday was so hot a day, a friend brought back some high grade Kuding tea, only buds.
I like Kuding tea although it's bitter and cool, it can be looks like a live leaf on the water, so fresh and green ,just like it grows in your cup.
But attention, don't drink too much.
Sorry I can't post link yet or I'll give you a picture.
Tuesday Now. Have a good day!

Do you know what's meaning of Chinese character of Cha?
茶---The top part is grass, bottom is tree and middle part is human.
Cha-Tea, connect human with nature.

Well... as you know may it was my first time doing business with O-Cha.com and I must say, I am quite impressed.Chip wrote:Dresden wrote: And my order from O-Cha came in today!!! Woohoo!!!

Everything came in nicely packaged and as advertised. I was a little frightened with the thought of a kyusu going through the USPS... But it came through unscathed.

I ended up getting a kyusu, tea canister and 100g of yutaka-midori shincha... Pics follow!
Thanks to everyone who helped me in my decision to order from O-Cha!
