I've been looking for 'root'-wood or 'burl'-wood stands; haven't been able to find 'em. (tho I did get one from Yunnan Sourcing, but it is wood that is clearly machined to look like root or burl, and badly; fortunately, not expensive
).

I have to splice in the dorm room Ikea teapot. Not exactly the same kind of beauty the rest of the pots here, but I think it has some personality!
...Yes, thats a rope handle. The plastic one broke off... and yes, there is a large dent...and yes it may be charred on the backside. Its been through the ringer!

Chip, thanks for the help!
I tried both the "grab the html" and "grab the link" options before, but it just didn't want to format the pic in the post apparently. Gonna test with another pic, see if this works. This is my newly-rediscovered gaiwan - I have 2, and love them.
The one Chip put in is actually a set with 6 cups, I got it for my birthday 2 years ago, and just haven't used it yet - haven't had the right number of people to justify using it (i.e. it's usually 2-3 people, or 10+)
