Wow, truly amazing "available now" pieces, Petr! The finish on the pots is quite different. Can you share what you are doing to create this finish?

Thanks.

Hi Chip, and thank you very much :) what kind of "finish" do you mean? If you have ment the surface of the teapot on the previous picture it is kind of slip (wood ash, kaolin, rutile ) on stoneware body. And this teapot as well as the jar below were covered by charcoal during top stages of the firing- kind of "bizen" techniqe.

Sorry Petr, I meant POTS, but said posts.

Yes, the finish on the pots gives them a carved stone kind of look.

Hello Everybody,

Just would like to share with you few "quick shots" of new pieces. New combinations I work on. First is white shino on porcelain-it is almost impossible to take pictures of this white...or better to say impossible with my camera:) Second piece is small cup-yunnomi. New high iron clay with thick ash glaze I use.

Any observations? Thanks

Thank you debunix, Like in most cases, the look of the glaze here depents on clay body, thicknes, firing. Very often this ash glaze is "only" nicely white.

Beautiful new pieces, Petr! The greens are very Hagi-ish! The white on porcelain are simply beautiful.

Do you have an updated "available now?"
