Yep it was me! And yes I totally love it. The bigger size is just perfect for me to
fill twice from my 16 oz glass pot.
I am in contact with the potter, urging him to list more and make more - explaining to him about the needs and concerns of us tea enthusists in the know. He appreciates my input, so more will be coming! Have no fear!

The ONLY reason I hesitated is because it was 8oz. If it had been 5-6oz, I would have bought it the second I opened the page. It is really beautiful. Also, someone bought another teabowl (black and white) from the same artist. Right out from under me! The nerve!

Yes I expressed those concerns and asked for more in smaller sizes. Also explaining although the colors are lovely, white interiors are favored and also a thinner lip than some shown. But as you can probably tell the quality of the work is excellent. It is so perfectly even and smooth. A real treasure. The yellow one looks nice. I have also asked for a lily or trumpet style to be made.
Ohhh I missed the black and white one!!
For those of you interested we are discussing this potter on Etsy:

He did turn out a full white one in a 3.5oz size. It's lovely and it's already gone. I didn't buy that one because I fell in love with the green interior of the one you bought.

dang I'm picky. Maybe I should do an "alchemy" with this shop. Hmmm...

Canister:
1. a small box or jar, often one of a kitchen set, for holding tea, coffee, flour, and sugar.
Yep, it's a canister.

That's really attractive. Can you tell us anything more about kinma, Olivier? It's not something I'm familiar with.

From rikyucha description:
It is basically arranged Urushi on the surface over again up to 8-9 times and after dry up, it is carved to make these unique designs. Then it is painted into the places engraved by Urushi. Finally it is polished carefully to complete.

Welcome doyoulovedee! I love Bodum cups and it is sweet you have matching; one with a handle and one without. Very innovative tea storage, thanks for posting!
