That's the drinking cup from the
Duckegg Shell Porcelain Guywan Set at Rishi. I'm not super in love with it. It doesn't really look like white jade the way it does Rishi's image, and the bottom of the inside of the cup seems to have been stained somehow... I think you can actually see the spots in that picture. I like the matching pitcher though.
I want this cup. And in fact I just bought it, so I'm kind of cheating, but I was dying to share. According to the eBay listing it's handmade studio porcelain, whatever that means. It was pretty cheap, so I'm happy.

The description says 4 1/8 in. across the rim, 1 3/4 in. tall, and 1 in. across the raised foot rim. I'm hoping that doesn't = a lot of liquid. I have a hard time filling my Hagiyaki with enough tea to make a good picture.
Oh, and what I really wanted was this:
But I was outbid.

Good thing too. You'd never get all that candle wax off of it.

Nice! I like the earthy rusticness of it. Looks like a tree trunk with snow.

Please forgive me, but that milky-white, drip-glaze style of Oni Hagi always reminds me of something ahem, less mentionable than "candle wax..."
I don't think I could quite bring myself to drink my Sencha out of such a vessel

Eep. I don't know if I can take all this candour so early in the morning
Actually, I have a cup like this, and what
I see (Rorschach test for tea people!) is a snowy-peaked mountain. Or, maybe an extinct volcano that's snow-covered. But you get my drift.

Joel, I have previously referred to it as "bukkake ware", to which Mary responded "you mean because it is glazed in ejaculate?"
Keep the bar low, I say.

I own that I said those exact words, but for the record, folks...this conversation Brandon's referenced didn't take place in TeaChat or the IM.
Edit: Oh, bugger. I didn't see that this was posted in the ITD! Yeah. The stuff looks like it's dripping in jizz, and I want no part of that.

Cherry bark doughnut?
Served at all the finer woodchuck diners.
