I'm trying to identify the piece of music that we can see... any hints?

Do something different, something different will happen. ( Gong Fu Garden )
Congrats on your new mug! New teaware is always fun and make the tea more enjoyable.

New arrival from Japan yesterday.
Kyusu by artisan Kenji, perhaps my current favorite Tokoname craftsman, could be. This style is "Nericome with cuts."
To be honest, I never thought I would be interested in Nericome, nor in a kyusu featuring yellow.
But I have been studying his work since I first received the black with red one pictured below.
The clay he uses is extremely fine and smooth, very beautiful to the touch and has an amazing sound, a clear ring, to it.
Both of these are deox fired which is in typically higher quality pots, the black is a result of this firing.
And yes, the spout protector is already removed and I am living on the wild side.
I was also looking for a very round kyusu. Artistic Nippon went beyond the call of duty to find a kyusu I wanted.

My first Kenji kyusu as mentioned above.

Also arrived yesterday from Japan.
Natsume for holding matcha during the Japanese tea ceremony, complete with Momiji (Japanese Maple) leaves
floating on a sinuous, swirling stream. Considering the prices I am seeing these things going for,
they are extremely collectable. This is as modest as they come, but I had to start somewhere.

blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
Chip, I don't particularly like Kenji's Nerikomis on AN, but I really like that one! I like how the yellow is more subtle and kind of fades into black on the other side.
I'm starting to think more highly of Kenji. His pots sound amazing. How do they compare to Hokujo's? I'm contemplating stepping up my game for shincha, and getting a good kyusu.
