What's Left

by Aphroditea » Mar 17th, '09, 11:04

So that we know where we stand at the moment, here is what all is still in the box.

There's a thermometer, some small cups and a VERY little bamboo charcoal.

Here are the teas (I will put a * by those teas which still have a decent or significant amount, otherwise assume 1-3 servings left)

Several Adagio offerings:
* Jasmine #5
* Jasmine #9
* Oolong #40
Pouchong
* Wuyi Ensemble
Oolong #18
* Oooh Darjeeling
* Almond Oolong

TeaSource Big Red Robe
NCTG Red Jacket
NCTG Iron Goddess King
* TeaCuppa Da ye Wuyi
* Magnolia Oolong (TeaSource)
* Teavana Iron Buddha
2005 Spring Wuyi Shui Xian from Hou De
* NMTC White Tip Oolong
* FooJoy Monkey-Picked TKY
Upton Osmanthus Oolong
* Korean Oolong
Tao of Tea "Strong Fire" high fire, highly oxidized
* English Tea Store: Formosa Oolong Estate Tea (PLENTY of this)
* English Tea Store Oolong Orange Blossom Estate Tea

I can add a few things:
Rishi Plum Oolong
Taiwan Milk Oolong
Ali-shan

I will check on this, thanks for your suggestion.
:)
It is great to see the Oolong Box Pass lives on! Looks like there are already a lot of Adagio oolongs represented.

There is a new box pass in the works as of yesterday, a Signature Blend BP and Adagio has already been solicited for teas for that box. I would not want to see us ask for too much, IMHO.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Ok thanks for the update Aphro.
I'll get the list finalized in the next day or so.

Chip, you are probably right, there seem to be a few Adagio Oolongs
in there already. We'll save our request for now. :)
Thanks for your input!

You are welcome, of course.

OK, that sounds like the right thing to do for now. We would not want to overwhelm them with requests. 8)

So I'm guessing now's not the time to ask for an ingenuiTEA for every TeaChat member? I kid, I kid.

I'd be glad to add something to the box... not that I have anything NOW but I would be willing to buy something to share :) Any requests?

I'd love to have another go at the box later, if more goodies get added to it... not sure if I expressed such an interest before, but count me in. I am also willing to contribute some fresh additions to the box to help restock it with fresh stuffs. Will it be returning to you before it starts a new circuit, Victoria?

Sarah
***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

No, since there seems to be quite a large amount of tea left in the pass box, the powers that be (me & tenuki) have decided the current box should continue!

:)

I will enter your name on the extended list.

I just bought 5oz of oolong #18 to put in the box pass... or however much will fit in the box I suppose, not sure how big the 5oz canister is- I've only bought sample tins so far :)

Took a really quick reference pic for you bsteele. This is a 4oz (obviously not full anymore) blend tin compared to a quarter.

ah, wonderful reference pic.

I guess I was just wondering how packed the oolong box already is and see if the canister can fit as it or if I'll need to put it in something smaller. But I'll find all that out when the box comes my way :)

I can't shake the thought of a giant wooden chest full of tea being sent about...
We were fated to pretend.
