You should consider collecting about a dozen or so starter samples, contributed by the dedicated TC puer club membership, to kickstart the box again.

If you ask very nicely, netsurfr might contribute to your box (wouldn't have to be much), so that interested parties have a chance to sample some of his wares.

Well, I don't know if anyone's read my other posts, but I'd definitely be willing to break open some of my young sheng for tasting comments from the group. I have some teaware as well.

Please join the waiting list by typing your user name in a new post along with that you would be willing to contribute. I'll start a box once we get 10 people involved.

UPDATE: Looks like we are quite divided between "box pass" and "swap" so I will wait for the results to come in before putting anything together.

My apologies, this is the first time I heard about the missing box pass. I try to read just about everything, but just had not been reading posts about this box pass.

So, Polyhymnianmuse should have received it from el padre? And then it was never heard from again along with this member? Both disappeared around 5/10/09 ...

Has anyone heard from him or contacted him?

I think in general.... one should not send the box pass to someone else without confirmation from that person that they're willing and able to receive it and pass it on.

If a PM is in my outbox (as opposed to "sent messages") that means it hasn't been read, correct?

If so, then Poly never got/read my PM from June 2009.

Otherwise it means my PM was never sent.

Either way, it's been awhile. . .

If it is in your outbox, it means he did not pick it up. According to his profile that any member can view, he has not been on since 5/17/09.

I'm moving soon. I have about three large paper grocery bags filled with pu. Help me share it!

There is nothing absolute, though shogun wrote up a good set of guidleines as the original post to this topic.

This would require an established member of at least one year, and an active and regular poster on the forum (this is a bit arbitrary). This member would head up the box pass.

There would have to be enough interest. Seems this was the big issue recently when a new pu-erh box pass was last discussed?

I think the big problem is one or two of these box passes vanished. Which of course saddens everyone further on in line, and angers those who already had it and put tea in to be shared by others.

The real problem is unless everyone is shelling out more money for delivery confermation and signatures when shipping, we really have no clue if it was a completely lost or destroyed package, or if someone is being deceitful.
