I absolutely LOVE her glazes, and have been following this shop for awhile. A friend of mine has several of her pieces. Looking through her "sold" items, I can see I've missed quite a bit. Might have to put her on rss. :)
Funny you say that...cause I already did mention it! I think she already has some she made thrown that she is firing now so probably no foot changes this round but if you look at the one i got on the sold section you will see an upsidedown pic of those 2..she did make the foot shorter and wider than on the brown one. She is very responsive to messages. We have been back and forth thru the ETSY messaging a lot here while she was creating these. She is fairly new to the teaware side of things but very interested to learn more and make more. I think shes got a good start!

LOL @ chip. No, I don't know even know a fraction, but it seems many of us run in the same circles. And if it's on Etsy, and tagged properly, I've probably seen it unless it is custom and purchased right away. I page through the ceramics section weekly, and have done so for a couple of years, so longterm artists... well, I'm familiar with their styles. :)

The artist we are discussing is elmstudios. Amazing glazes. I think Victoria has at least one cup from her also.

I believe it was Victoria that got a food-safe Raku style from her if I am not mistaken? yes some of her regular vases and serving bowls look stunning!

Is this for water or tea storage ?

It is beautiful. Hard to tell from photo scale. It could be two inches tall or two feet.
Thanks Tom, its for both. I will be testing the effect of storing tea and water in this 5 feet tall vessel.

Onggi - that's a biggun

how does one store both tea and water ? I assume you would need a dipper to retrive the water -

In NYC, you might be able to sublet as well .....
At least a couple of course. Some for water and some for tea, and some for mini storage to let : )

You are correct! And one of these glass bottom styles from her is in my future. She is very talented.
