Is it too late to be considered for this? I have some Oolongs that I'd like to contribute to the pass, and wouldn't mind sampling a few out of the box. 8)

Just as a random tasting note, I finally tried the High Mountain Ginseng Oolong from Bird Pick this evening. It was a tightly rolled green oolong with bits of ginseng in it instead of the coated pebble type of ginseng oolong. My father had been wanting to try a ginseng tea and I wasn't quite sure how to brew rolled oolongs in a western style with good results, so it happily brewed in a gaiwan with the first few steeps combined in serving pitcher (Pyrex Measuring Cup) so that we both could sample it. We both agreed that it was very good. For a greener oolong, the ginseng gave it a bit of a toasty flavor that balanced well with the greenness and a surprisingly sweet aftertaste that complemented the natural sweetness of the oolong. The two flavors, in all, blended well together.

Okay - I got the address for the next lucky winner. It will likely be a couple days before I get the box gone (gotta repack it and then squeeze a post office trip into my schedule).

Also - I am friends with DangerInRed on LiveJournal, I will see if I can PM her over there.

Cheers!!

It has been passed!

I handed the box over to edkrueger (litterally) over a pot of 2008 Monkey Picked Iron Goddess at The Steeping Room today. So, it is officially back underway. Bon Voyage Box!

If it's not too late, I'd like to be included in the box pass as well. I have some gems that I can add.

Well I guess the list keeps getting longer...? If it's still possible then, I'd definitely like to join, too! I've got some good samples to add, and I'm really curious to expand beyond the da hong paos, ali shans, and such...
