Thank you for the kind feedback, everyone.

I actually had a ton of fun photographing the cups... in fact, in taking the pictures it was like discovering their beauty and delicacy for the very first time.

And I owe it all to Tenuki, due to his "Pics or it didn't happen" challenge - and of course the example of his stunning photos! Thanks Tenuki!

Hmmm... what to photograph next?... {happily plotting}

Chamekke: Wow, I like the cups but most of all I like the photography! If I'd ever seen anything like that golden cup with black ornament for sale, I would have bought it on the spot. *dribbles*

Russian Soul and Victoria:

I'm glad you like the blue-and-white cup! It's made by an English pottery named Shelley, and the name of the pattern is "Dainty Blue". (Or I should say "was", since it's been discontinued and is now considered vintage/antique.) There's an antique shop in my town that has a whole shelf filled with these... to very stunning effect.

Wow. And with the rhododendrons in the background... stunning.

Is there a story behind these? Are they new, or is this simply a still life with garden? Either way - very nice. I really love the two in the middle!

Recent Daiso purchases, part of the 'raining pottery' week. 1.50 each, I love that store. :)

Beautiful indeed, Joel. I like the little bump on the rim of the right hand one.

Those yunomi are beautiful.

I look forward to hearing what it's like to drink from them!
