Thanks as always for sharing your beauties with matcha for us.

OK, long overdue and grainy phone shot  ... obviously a Cory Lum Chawan with Zencha Yame Matcha. This is the biggest chawan on the planet I think. Big suckah will kick yo azz. Also, each partial turn of the chawan reveals another "chapter" in its story ... in typical Cory Lum fashion.

At the TeaTable ...

Haaa, you just want a gander at the Hagi. I will see what I can do ... more likely in the Hagi topic.

May we all find some way to do what we need to do, in keeping with who we aspire to be, one small step at a time.

Thought I'd share pics of the "mystery" matcha that I received as a gift.
Maybe someone knows what this is? I like it. :D

Up early today to participate in a gestalt group in Albany.
Then... to the tea shop!!! Yay!!! (Where, btw, the best mochi in the world are served, hands down! -- so I'll be having some more matcha with mochi at about 3:30 at Teance, mmmmmmm).
This morning, Ikuyo from Ippodo, in a Cory Lum chawan.

And this is for all us matcha 'whores' :

I wish you a good morning, a good day, a good evening. May you perceive some goodness, no matter how small.

What a completely lovely thing to get up this morning and discover
this wonderful photo of matcha in chawan shared with us all.
:D I am grinning from ear to ear. :D
Thank you Blairswh... for sharing with us. Many thanks.
That is a stunning bowl - I love the spaciousness I feel inside as I get the feeling of broad landscapes in its interior.
Mmm. Nice.
Cheers.

Thanks for the Kudos, quite a nice collection of chawan you have going on, I love to see the contemporary stuff as well as the traditional.
