Hi Vic,Victoria wrote:Really hard to capture the beauty of these new Crystallized Celadon Cups from JAS-e Tea:
Got mine from http://www.yunnansourcing.com/store/
I'm looking for other pieces of the same color&look.
Might as well turn this into a set.

Thanks everyone!
Wow, nonc_ron I forgot about that! I was wondering why
JAS e Tea wasn't carrying the green too. I had a similar one
from Tea Spring, but not nearly as nice or as vibrant. Ended
up giving it to DotK when she broke part of hers. In the meantime
I kinda been wanting it still. But I'm really happy with the white.
And these two small cups match in style with my white crackle.
I would love to see more pieces.

I got an email from Adagio Tea saying this tea pot was back in stock.
A nice clean look and the price is only $9.00

Have you used it to brew tea?Victoria wrote:I have one too, it is a great size,

I was planing on brewing my tea in my usual no fuss no muse way.
(My cast iron sauce pot)
And this pot as a pitcher to bring the tea to the table and fill the cups.
(Only when I have company)

Re: Newest Chapter! Show Off Your Pots and Cups XIII
On Friday, I took advantage of o-cha.com's sincha sale and while I was shopping I ordered this sweet little cup: http://www.o-cha.com/Arita-yaki-Teacup-16506.html. My order arrived yesterday (EMS from Japan is super fast!!!).
The cup is a delight...it is my favorite shape, nice "lip feel", lovely crackle glaze, colors are not as vivid as the picture shows on my monitor (but I like the color it is better anyway). It is already a favorite!
I may need to order another as a spare!

P.S. I've not written here in a while, but I always peep in on this topic and so appreciate seeing everyone's wares!! Thanks! D.

Nice Dreamer!! That's a sweet looking cup, yeah love that shape.
Congrats!
nonc_ron - I have brewed in the Adagio pot quite a bit, yes. Definitely my "go to" English pot for a larger batch. Sometimes I like to brew a large pot of tea and go read by the fireplace, in that case I use the infuser basket and pour into my small cup a bit at a time. I have also used it with the leaves loose inside and then pour out using the basket as a strainer. Your way would work too. It really is a neat design with the subtle squareness to the edges.

Thought I would post a few pictures of my teaware - aside from my TC TA SO cup these comprise the entirety of my collection. The rather strange kyusu-ish teapot was found at Salvation army for $2.00, while the cups were purchased at World Market for $0.99 apiece. Grand total of $4.00, not bad at all, seeing as how it's all I have. There is a gaiwan and serving pitcher en route from Jas-eTea, which I'm looking forward to as well, hoping to round out my little collection. Teaware is expensive, and I want too much, so i'm staying small.
Oh well!
Oh..and if anyone knows what the writing on the teapot says...do tell. That's the only markings it posseses.
