The set is made of translucent porcelain with almost (90%) just Czech feldspar as glaze. The teapot can holds around 150ml. The teaboat is as always Mirka's creation...here is more pictures of it

Some of you may remember the tenmoku chawan I have posted here few weeks back. Now I made him small yunomi-brother. You can see how different clay (and of course firing) have impact on the colors even in such dark, non-translucent glaze.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who has been obsessing a bit over big brother chawan....so cool to meet little brother, and to see the 'family resemblance'.
Fortunately, I was already sitting down to a tea session with one of my new shiboridashi and yuzamashi and have managed to resist the siren call of these dark & handsome cups.

That tenmoku Chawan is a very nice synthesis of form and glaze.
