Merci!! Wow! Thank you so much!

I have been on the look out for white "rice Pattern" for a very long time.

I have only found the small (tiny) cups from Jing Tea, and some rice bowls on eBay up untill now.

I am very happy.

Thanks again.

Oh yeah. I actually was so excited I tracked it back from the
picture post html, in case you were delayed in telling me.

 :)

That was fast indeed!

Well, you will have to drink gyokuro now.

Wow

You know what, I have part of that set already. I think it turned up at my house of treasures, i.e. the local consignment shop, and I bought it because I liked it even though, at that point, I had no use for it. Then I put it at the back of an upper cupboard and forgot about it.

Sadly my set lacks the kyusu, but it does contain the yusamashi and four of the five cups. Of course, not having the kyusu is a bit of a handicap!

All this is a long-winded way of saying: Victoria, if you ever break one of the pieces of your set (aside from the kyusu, that is), let me know and I can help fill the gap :)

I have one of the Jing cups and it is very disappointing. The rice holes are almost as opaque as the porcelain. Not a high quality product. I'm sure your new Japanese gyo set will be light years better.

Thanks for the heads-up. I saw these go up for sale at Jing soon after I placed my last order, and was sad that I wasn't able to get them. Now I'm happy I didn't.

Photoshop is the only thing that can make those cups shine. Continue to be happy.

You can see them here - they are so small - The large white cup is 5 oz.
