Much baby birthing... middle-of-the-nighters too! Plus life in general... plus first flush Darjeelings and shincha season... plus, I am a slacking procrastinator.
Plus... Garrett can't take the box right now due to traveling and has asked to be moved down on the list please, Victoria. I have a PM in to heatwaves so I can get the box moving.

Hey, can I get added to the list too?
It just occurred to me that I've never signed up for it, though I always mean to.

Yippee! It's so much fun to be "next"!
Drax, I should be able to forward you the box sometime around February 2010.

Box is enroute to heatwaves as we speak. I added some Orange Blossom Oolong from New Mexico Tea Company... and some Fine TKY from SpecialTeas. There's still lots of variety in the box... hope you enjoy it.

You would be able to hear the wailing even all the way on the other coast...
Hey wow, the oolong box is going to be one-year old tomorrow! (or at least, going by the first post). Amazing!! Happy Birthday oolong box!!

I hope the sample bags/boxes are annotated with info including the date purchased and date added to box. Is there a master list available?

The last inventory list was posted in March but the contents of the box are ever-changing due to additions and subtractions by each participant. The contents are pretty well labeled with tea variety and vendor... most is not dated but some contains vendor labels with harvest date info etc.

Well Sarah summed it up pretty well. And, hopefully no one is putting in old unwanted stale tea, but that is always a risk. As for concerns due to the age of the box, you can look back at the first posts and see the inventory and the pics. I do believe most of the original stock is gone.

Is there such thing as stale Oolong.... wouldn't it just be "aged"?

Just wanted to update everyone...
I received the box yesterday and it's packed full of oolongy goodness! I'm going to savor it for a week and then I'll send it out to Drax.
(Drax, would you PM me your address so I can get it to you? You're also in a lot of luck -- I plan on adding a little bit of high mountain oolong from Wing Hop Fun in LA. The stuff is my absolute favorite -- and at $200/lb it should be.)
