Have you try them before? Planning on ordering some. I have samples of those, and its quite alright. Not That EXPENSIVE :D
Yeah, how do they taste? Expensive isn't bad if it's worth the expense, right?

Well, and if you can afford the expense ;)
good nose. little on the floral side and lemony. Yiwu characters at the back, elegant and subtle. Leaves are meaty, hairy and strong. Slow emerging qi, balance. Good for aging.

I'm with Salsero... what's the name of the cakes and where did you come across them?

Now that I think about it, maybe you already gave us the name. I seem to recall a cake called "Yunnan Ancient Puerh Tree Ex Pen Sive". This cake does tend to be pricier than its less sanitary cousin - "Yunnan Ancient Puerh Tree Wi Th Ha Ir In Si De"

These are some great names Heatwaves :D

"True Taste Puerh" is the series name. "Main Yiwu Mountain" is the bottom one. Which is under $100 retail. Top one "Classic Character Memorial Cake" is around $75. Both are Taiwanese commissioned cakes.

I'm not sure what a "+1" represents...but it's gotta be better than a "0"! :)

Hey Tom!

Thanks for the offer! Having some true tea lovers around would certainly help me step my game up a notch. I see that you are located, pretty much on the diagonally, opposite side of the continent to me...can you be here by 3:00?

I've got no idea on the bricks...I just trust what the sellers say. I still have one brick that I can't identify with any of my paperwork...and three Mengku tuos that I'm not sure about. I remember how I got them, as a replacement for some 8100 cakes I paid for but turned out not to be available...but I'll have to do some more detective work to identify them better.
