Yo Geeber!

Our wee US Post Office is also officially closed on Saturday, but we can show up in the lobby that has public access to PO boxes and ring politely (doorbell explicitly for this purpose) at the two piece door (the type that opens at the top only to hand out packages on request or both parts, as when they help customers out with large boxes). Has to be between the hours of 9-11am. This is the second small town post office that I've known that had this policy. You might try showing up and seeing if they will let you have your package. The postal clerks are there sorting mail anyway.

Most people don't know that it's an informal policy for weekend package pickup for rural and many urban post offices. Larger towns feature 1/2 day access, Saturday morning for regular postal business.

Intuit, I had already gone online and did a delivery request, but that is a good tip about the Post Office. I will definitely try that next time I need to get a package on the weekend. The mailman delivered the Oolong Box a while ago. I took everything out and snapped a couple of photos and made a list of the contents. All I can say is WOW, there's a lot there to sample!

and Victoria, I will throw the English Tea Store packages away. :D

All right, glad to hear it made it!

It was a good way for me to try some stuff I wouldn't normally buy (especially the flavored stuff). I appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of the pass!

I'll be sending the Oolong box along to cheaton this afternoon. I thought you all might like a photo of the contents when it arrived:

The two packages at the top (the pink/green ones that are cut off) have been thrown away, per the Oolong Queen's orders.

Here's the box in my town:

And here's where it's leaving from. (Walla Walla, Washington):

I think it would be nice to see photos of where the box is traveling. I realize it's already been all over the country, but maybe for the rest of its tour, we could get photos?

You betcha, pardner!
But we also have great wine, which I would enjoy more if I were a wine drinker instead of a tea drinker.

I received the box. Sorry that I won't have time for much posting about the tea and/or picture taking. PM'ing teashionista for address to send it on.

I'll give Teashionista until tomorrow afternoon to reply. I'm leaving to go out of town on Friday and would like to send the box on this week.
