Thank you for respons. Very nice is that kiln and even for teabowls not so small. Sorry for that stupid question (I have experience only with raku gas kiln) but for such not so big kiln two burners are necessary to achieve high temperature or more to get the same temperature in every part of the kiln?
I think about such size kiln but with one burner only.

Wonderful Chawan Michael, I really do like how it goes from snowy white on the bottom to dark on top, almost like looking out the window on a snowy night.

My small kiln has two 75,000 btu venture burners fired with natural gas at max. 10 water column inches of pressure at 8000 ft elevation. I fire to ∆10 (2345F) reduction in 8.5 hours. With these conditions my kiln needs the two burners to reach temp. On the other hand, if this kiln were designed as a raku kiln, my quess is one 75,000 btu burner would be sufficient.

There are many variables to consider when designing a gas fired kiln, I would highly recommend "The Kiln Book" by Frederick L. Olsen, he covers all types of kilns and fuel types.
