Very nice kyusu. Since there are many by this artist on ebay, have you asked whether these are fired in a Noborigama or electric/gas kiln? I only have 1 bizen teapot but it is a magician with some teas.Jayaratna wrote:Yes, Chip, I was lucky enough to get this one.Chip wrote:Jayaratna, very nice Bizen kyusu. Think I saw that one on ebay? If it is the one I saw, it was also a very good price.

David R. wrote:Jayaratna : superb kyusu. Bizen kyusu is really something I'd like to have one day. Are you happy with its effect on tea?
I haven't noticed much, but the Shizuoka Sencha I'm drinking these days is excellent but wants a lot of leaves to taste right, so I don't drink it with this teapot, which makes two or three cups.Tead Off wrote:Very nice kyusu. Let's see, maybe with time it's going to season a bit.

Just wanted to share a few images of my 2 new tea pots I made.
The first one - I was going for the marble look, and I think it worked
There is also a matching cup!

Very cool kyusu ... how about showing the inside and sharing some details on it.

Haven't posted here for a while, but here are some of my new teapots. The first one is a small (around 120ml) Jingdezhen pot.

And this is a Yixing pot I got about a year ago from Jing's Tea Shop:
