I've got one of the 150ml Shiggys on reserve too. I've never checked out Hojo's teas before, does anyone have any favorites? I know these pots use a ball filter, anyone have comments about how well they drain, and if the holes are small enough for Fukamushi?

I also reserved one myself. It's a 120ml pot. I cannot wait!

Loads of these back in stock including some 60ml. Not a fan of these pots but heads up for those that are looking!

I know! I did manage to snag something else though that was un-shiggy related!

I had the same sentiment. I got the email on my tablet as I woke yesterday. Immediately sprung into action and fed PayPal a few more dollars: so many tempting new pieces. :)

Should I purchase one to add to the possible shiggy group photo?

I'm not feeling these ones as much as the batches for years ago. The details don't look as tight.

This seems to be ... true. I bought one of the very first runs, the lid to pot connection was incredible. If I turned the lid while on the pot, it was so smooth which was amazing since the clay was quite rough. Some serious sanding.

The ones I got last run were not like this at all. It is like Tachi suddenly decided sanding was not an option. Turning the lid while atop the pot is like rubbing two pieces of sandpaper together. Kind of like Yamada philosophy ... no sanding!

Not saying this is "wrong" ... just different and not as expected.

I have a feeling he may of done that due to particle size in the clay. I seem to remember from years back that there were a few cheaper Siggys on Hojo site due to there being minor chips on the some of the lid edges. There's been no seconds on these batches so maybe that's why he's done it. Yamada also has large particles in his clay. This is just guess work though.

After the buying frenzy calmed I did see one on there that I loved had still not been sold. I was hoping someone would buy it but they didn't so I did  will report back on the differences.
