I'm working on a second round of the fukamushi maki from Den's.
I had hoped fukamushicha would be this good one I got around to trying it.

Fukamushi Maki from the Shizuoka Prefecture is like expresso sencha.
It seems to me that Shizuoka Prefecture had an excellent quality harvest this year. The 2006 harvest was good, but the 2007 has been crazy good. I have not had a bad one yet.
Kagoshima on the other hand seemed to have a down year, and Kagoshima has been my favorite prefecture. 2006 was a stellar year for them.

It's a little late, technically not teaday anymore, but I had a couple bowls of matcha. Mmm!
