Now this is my kinda teaware! It's beautiful & I love the color combination. Bet the OBO tastes even better in that cup!
Girly...with or without the OBO.
Go drink your grass clippings & mind your own business. :P
Actually, I would not mind giving it a go, but what do you do with the handle thingy on the side. And what do I do with my pinky when holding such a cup?

The rose is hypnotic, I must confess!!! I first thought there was a rose sitting in the cup. This would be perfect for asamushi cha, which would allow viewing the rose while drinking.

Trent, your basement must be magical!!!

It's very simple--you hold the cup using the handle. And technically, the pinky should NOT be extended, unless you want to be pretentious.

Yikes! I'm a good southern girl with about 3 silver teapots. It never occurred to me to actually *use* them. Hmmmm ....

Wow, our apartment building's basement mostly contains a crabby superintendent. And some spiders.

Now I'm curious  Who buys these mysterious silver teapots, and why? Are they owned mainly for display? Or are they available for "high guests" only (who never actually manifest, because even Great-Aunt Jane only warrants the bone china)?

A cup filled with mauve violets - how beautiful! And I love the way you've displayed it on a heart-shaped doily against a purple background. Perfection.

Victoria, your photographs are exquisite.

P.S. to Chip: we need a dropped-jaw emoticon.

Danger...longgggg TeaChunnel.

Pretentious...this cup beckons me to be such a TeaSnob. How can one not be at least a little pretentious sipping sencha from such a royal cup?

Trent, rub the side of the silver teapot...

Victoria, you may need to turn in your avatar if this keeps up! And replace it with a photo of her highness, Queen Victoria!

I like the pattern reversal on this one...on the inside instead of the outside...
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
