Late post for me, but let's see if I can be quick:
Just as I sometimes gongfu, I sometimes brew western.
Today I tried Ito En's Sencha Shot. I have to say I am definitely NOT a fan. What's the general consensus on this product around the forum?
Right now I am watching an old "Queen" concert on public television. How cool was Freddie Mercury? "We Are the Champions" right now as he struts in his shorts. Classic. - Has nothing to do with anything except it seemed worthy of comment.
Anyway, back to tea.
Henley:I was thinking of you today. I hope DD's first day went wonderfully. And I am absurdly jealous of your gorgeous collection.
Augie:Really nice piece. Congrats on finishing it. I too recently discovered an old star piece (large Texas star) that was not exactly my finest work. I actually threw it away yesterday, finally coming to terms with the fact that I am never really going to fix it.
Auggy: Your reminiscence of your grandmother makes me want to pull my quilting frame back out. The last piece I did using it was a queen sized quilt for my cousin's wedding gift. It was a patchwork pattern of 1" x 1" squares in a diamond pattern, completely sewn and quilted by hand. Sadly, the marriage didn't last and her dog took over the blanket. Last I knew it was in pieces.

I must admit that I haven't been as motivated to do another. I think the next one will stay safely in this house!
