I think that it might surpress the common cold because during the winter is the time of year that I drink most of my tea and I almost never get sick. But two weeks ago I got strep throat when I wasn't really drinking any tea. It's a might because it's not really proved for me yet for I have an amazing immune system and only get sick at least twice a year during allergy season.
I've started off my exterm tea drinking season yesterday. The cooler conditions are better conditions for me to drink tea in. Today I sampled some Pirate Spice tea which proved very tasty. Smooth, a little nutty, and a hint of sweetness. My tea cup still smells of it.
Hey, this is my longest post since forever. Heh.
Hope you had a TeaRiffic Birthday, Geeber! Cheers to Geeber and may you have many cups more!

I said maybe-
There are a lot of studies out there correlating tea with myriad health benefits....
Whether it directly fights the common cold or infections, I don't know. But it probably won't hurt...
<--- drank Chiran Kanayamidori Sencha today. Maybe some Rooibos tonight...
And that's a nice cup Sal, very cool.

Ah, that explains how you got yours so quickly. I had assumed that you had some kind of Toru-san hotline!Salsero wrote:If you refer to the yunomi that you got from Toru san but I got from Iris Hermit, yes. But on that cup, the ridges are inside as well as outside.chamekke wrote: The karesansui cup that you bought through Toru-san has similar ridges, no?

Thanks, Sal. My husband bought me the gaiwan. I think it came from Specialteas.Salsero wrote: Katrina, love the pic, love the gaiwan, and you know we all covet your blackberries! Where did that gaiwan come from?
