Cheers Scruff, I tend to go between voting for a minority party I have a slight interest in and spoiling my ballot paper to register my distaste of the whole affair.

I would like to think that a democratic success might lead the way for more than a one on one struggle in the future. A or B democracy has always troubled me.

Agreed. Two-party systems suck.

It all comes down to the common notion that we must choose the lesser of two evils, IMO. Of course by now it is so ingrained in our sheep-like public consciousness that there is little hope of correcting the problem.

Yeah, I'm the Chair of the Libertarian Party of Mississippi.

We're small but growing.

Dang, Padre! I have an inkling of how much work and responsibility that entails (when I turned 18, my county's Republican organizers offered me the county chair position--I turned it down and a year later went Democrat) and am very impressed. You've really got it together if you can whip up a state's party members.

It's also relevant for tea ... I see no tea anywhere in that room ... not even a bagged tea! Clearly, in a Palin presidency, tea would be outlawed, and we all know that if you outlaw tea only the outlaws will have tea! Well, in that case I guess Ed and Space will have some.
