Rarely order dessert when going out to dinner but if I do, my favorite is Key Lime Pie. Yummy!

Oolong #8 this morning w/bfast. Busy day so no other tea til now.

All the talk of the African objects inspired me to try the Honeybush from Kymidwife. The ivory giraffe came from my trip to Nigeria. Didn't know at the time that it was illegal to bring it home. Oops!

Well hey, there's an excuse to go and get more Kenyan tea. ;) I've never taken pictures of them, but if I do, I'll post them.

The dragon gaiwan looks very nice! I have a weak spot for blue and white china.

Nice (illegal alien) giraffe, Henley. Seems to like kymidwife's Honeybush Tea! But those cups, they are not familiar to me. How is it that such lovely teaware of yours has escaped my attention for so long?

Is that a backgammon set under the cup?

Oh! I totally agree with dark chocolate (anytime!) paired with Japanese teas... but it's also perfect with darker oolongs. Especially the roasted ones.
I would have gone with that size as well. Interesting studies!

Glad we agree on the dark chocolate!

I hope you have a speedy recovery! A little dark chocolate might help! :D

Finished off my TeaDay with "soggy leaf tea" consisting of late steeps of the earlier Long Jing and going too far with the Farmer shincha blend, but it was "wet" anyway.

My last steep of the day is a third steep of my Lupicia Alee Oolong.

Curiously craving dessert now.
