Threw a sencha bag in a water bottle and drank that most of the day. Adagio Silver Needles is the last "tea" of the day, maybe a low or no caffeine tea in a bit.

A day away and came home with a Teavana bag.
First time I have ever been in one. Interesting. I was a little awestruck by all the tetsubin pots they have. Came away with some hand picked Washi canisters, several with Momiji patterns, and 90 bucks lighter.

blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!
Turns out that I didn't vote for the right thing...I though today was going to be a chillaxing day, but instead I ended up stacking firewood, raking the lawn, and baking up some tea goodies!
Here are some pics of what I baked. A birthday cake for my mom. Some Jasmine Tea Cookies that I saw on TeaChef. And some Oolong bread (from TeaChef again) that I mixed ground almonds in with. Yum!

Here's a close up of the cake. While it's a lemon cake, the icing is pink because I mixed some ground hibiscus into it. I also sprinkled some hibiscus on top
The cake itself has a mixture of ground lemongrass, hibiscus, honeybush, and sencha green mixed in, as well as two cups of plain yogurt, lemon juice, lemon rind, and two cups of shredded zucchini. This baby was dense!

Hey guys! Sundays arent too much different than any other days other than the fact that I will sleep in a little bit longer than usual. I usually get up and have a few cups (which today has been Rishi silver needle) cook lunch, then go work on my geology research or other paperwork. Right now I am actually not having a cup of tea but rather a glass of white cranberry juice, but it will be back to silver needle here in a few minutes!

Sundays around here tend to be pretty lazy, mostly vegged out on the couch playing video games or watching TV/movies, and maybe running out to do some minor errands.
Having some of Adagio's Pumpkin Spice right now -- it's not too bad, and I normally hate spiced teas. I'll probably use some of it in a batch of scones, come to think of it.

Not sure you would like it, it's at the lighter end of the

Finishing up the evening with the last steep of white symphony.

If I had a penny for every time I was asked where I was when I lurked on an internet forum or chatroom I'd still be a very poor person. That said, I'm usually working around the house on Sundays if I skipped doing so on Fridays due to work or other activities and more often I'm away from the computer on Sundays due to friends, family, or the like real life obligations that also involve me suddenly finding my lap filled with two crates of cupped ramen.
Currently in my cup: a Quince Green. Take the flower and juice of the Quince fruit (something I've never had but family regards as a low-quality food for their pallet) and add it to a basic green leaf which I'm not an expert capable of identifying. Blend, brew, serve, and you have a very fragrant cup of green tea that tastes as good as it smells that has very little capacity for bitter or vegetable tastes overpowering the cup. Heck, I forgot the thing for 20 minutes while I was cleaning and it still tasted just as good as the first cup brewed in 5 minutes. Very, very durable blend from a little shop in Albuquerque.

Ok, that sounds like a plan, I still have quite a few darker wuyi on hand. Most from Hou De.caligatia wrote:I don't know about that. The wuyis you sent are great, but too heavy for an everyday tea for me. Anyhow, I have some on its way to me. If I don't like it I'll swap you for something darker, maybe.Victoria wrote:Not sure you would like it, it's at the lighter end of the
