I freely admit re-gifting tea-gifts. I don't feel bad or guilty about it. For some reason people feel compelled to give me nice fruit teas, rooibos and flavored tea bags. I appreciate the sentiment and love, but don't want to drink that. So I give them to my other friends and coworkers, who seem to be very happy to get them. The stuff that I re-gift beats the usual grocery store tea by a mile.

My matcha from Ippodo just arrived. 3 days! Amazing!

Sal... now I know you're secretly listening to every word I say... LOL! I think you pu heads were just trying to scare off us newbies so there won't be so much competition for buying the good stuff.

My teapoll answer was a decisive "maybe".

I have gotten some samples in tea trades that I tried and knew I wouldn't use, and I have passed them on in trades to others or given them away at work. I also got a huge sampler box of Mighty Leaf bags, which are actually quite good for bag tea... but they are not my favorite and there are so many, I will never use them all. So, I have gifted some of them in teatrades too. I can't think of anything truly "from hell" that I have dumped on someone else... I would only pass something forward in hopes that it would be enjoyed. Crap goes in the trash.

In my cup tonight is Oolong #8. I have a lady in labor, so I must get to bed soon and sleep while I can... I doubt she'll make it til sunrise.

I most certainly have! A lot of times relatives will get me teas that I dont really drink. They know I am into "loose leaf" teas, but that is about the extent of it....They get me a lot of flavored loose leafs like jamsine flavored silver needle, etc. which I am grateful for but I dont like flavored teas.....so, I usually re-gift them to other tea friends that like the flavored ones.....
*In my cup now....Karigane...

I've never regifted but my mom has taken to buying me random grocery store bags. I humor her and use them when I am at school since I am not able to use loose leaf there.

Regift....but of course. I can usually find someone who likes what I don't as far as teas go. However, I am a newbie and really haven't regifted may tea-related things, however I did give my friend some bagged flavored tea that was just not 'my bag'. :?
