Whoa, Nellie, that's getting out of my depth! Maybe some of the TeaDrunk guys could help with it. There's a lot of knowledge there.
Or leave a message on TeaGuy's blog

I don't always have tea in the morning, but when I have it's mostly Yerba Mate for the coffeine. This morning I had black tea scented with rose petals and fruit-bread with rose petal marmelade. It did all go very well together... not to mention how extremely well the rose tea tasted with some rose marmelade in it  Ehrm, this is me speaking, the hater of scented teas and sweeteners

I drink a different tea every morning, generally oolongs. I have a collection of everyday TGYs and Yan cha that I choose from on weekdays and Saturdays. Sundays I will often slow down a little more and start the day with something special, like a good quality dancong.

I've found that the sensory stimulation from oolongs wakes me up more quickly and more gently than if I had jolted my body into motion with caffeine from coffee.

A medium roasted TGY this morning. I may a cup of Ceylon Silver Tips ``Adams Peak'' after dinner.

I typically start and end the day with a Jap. green.....either a Karigane or a Sencha....sometimes a homemade Genmai-cha in the morning.
*Today I have been trying to finish off my Karigane that Toro-san from artisticnippon.com sent me as I have some Gyokuro Karigane coming in in a few days.

Got to try a third go at match this afternoon (pretty successful) and then moved on to "Samurai Chai Mate" from Teavana... also a gift/swap. There's some form of spice in this tea that cropped up in other flavored teas that I've tried, and, well, it sort of drowns out everything else. I don't feel like I'm drinking tea...

I pretty much always start my day with a cup of black tea, usually an Assam or breakfast blend.

This morning, it was a Twinings Irish Breakfast teabag as I was away. Some roasty TGY is looking like a great idea right now...

Yeah, kinda the same, but more whatever I have open. I am pretty excited to try this new sencha from O-Cha which is on its way here! wOOt! I get excited about trying a brand new sencha. Shizuoka Sencha "Surugawase"

They describe it as a slightly fermented sencha! Floral, yet slightly oolong character, this should be interesting.

I make no apologies for it either 'cause it's simply lovely, but I do make apologies for having snored at all sorts of scented teas for so long  Have to eat it all up now. Or rather drink it up! But as long as it tastes lovely...

Same with me, however, not end the day. But... lately I have been throwing a black or oolong in the mix so, not sure how I will vote on this!

Had Yunan Noir from Adagio, but did not like it as much as the Keemun Concerto.... to me it was not as full-bodied

I always start the day with a cup of slimming oolong (according to my tea lady :D ) with some Jasmine mixed in. It's not my favourite cup, but for some reason I just can't break the habit of that being my first cup every day. Funny.

I'm currently sipping away at the last of my Coconut Pouchong sample. All of my Adagio samples are finally running out.
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

For a while, I've been in a rut - jasmine green or monkey picked. I'm so getting tired of them and need to get something new that I can't wait to brew. I keep going though! :D
