I recently moved down the street from the hospital where I was born. Kind of creepy--it's like I'm stalking baby me.

Far away from where I was born but not missing it.

I dunno, less than 6K miles. Like Sal, been mobile.

I have no idea where 'home' is, but I know it's *not* where I'm presently residing.

Assam in the cup this morning. Darjeeling up next.

You can move in with me Chip, if you don't mind a few kilos of pu sitting around staring at you.

Funny!

The crocus can not live in this overheated environment. When they come you must post some photos ... and any other bulbs ... most of which need cold to survive. And then there's lilacs, which all northerners miss sorely when exiled to the South. Course for the lilacs, you need smell-o-vision, which is still in the pre-development stage.

From what you have shared before, I think you came light years and universes from where you started.

Those poppets sure are cute ... and I am not normally a fan of cute, so that's a bigger statement than it sounds like.

No really. They are.

For Gingko, the circumference of the earth at the equator is just under 25,000 miles.

About 50 miles from where I was born (Glasgow). Very interesting poll today - it's great to see the spread of answers (and the spread of distances).

Having some more 2006 MengHai V93 sheng (from the same pot as last night's).

CA is about as west as you can go!

I'm about 250 miles away from my point of origin.

Today's cup: Genmai (obukucha) from Ippodo

I voted less than 100 miles.
I was born in a St. Louis burb...I still live in a diferent
St. Louis burb....Florida is my next destination!

Today I'm home with sick teenage son...food poisoining, yuck.
Since I spent too much of the night awake, black tea seemed like
just the thing for this afternoon.

Ceylon Sonata (from my recently delivered Adagio black sampler)
in my cup today. Very nice. I think my DH (who only likes
Lipton bags) will like this tea. Very nice flavor and very smooth.
I'm enjoying it with a little whole milk and stevia.

This tea calls for a cup with a handle and a saucer. I even got out my
little cream pitcher for the milk. Brewed the pot and put it on my
cast iron warmer. Very nice for a quiet afternoon.

Peace,
Dreamer

13 Miles for me to be exact. Lived right in the middle of the city, then moved out to the burbs on my own.

Had alishan earlier and now can't decide on what else to have.

Well, I'm a little under 3,000 miles away from home. But that's okay, my husband is a little under 5,000 from home in the other direction. So, we're kind of in the middle.

Today I've been drinking a 2004 Yi Wu puerh... arborial, delicious Yunnan Chi Tse

(in case you wanna see...

But I am contemplating a late afternoon black tea with milk... hmmm

I voted less than 10,000 miles. To be exact, I'm living 7715.7 miles from where I was born. You can easily guess that it's one continent from another. :)

Anyway, I wonder who voted for more than 10,000 miles. I think from Iceland to Sydney, Australia is about 10k miles. :p

I'll be sure and post a few. I'm working on the smell-o-vision, but have run into some problems.

LOL! I'm not usually into "cute' either. I think their tinge of "creepy" helps with that.

Yippies, that's it! You've hit on an entirely new recipe. Of course, standing in a matcha bowl is a big plus too.
