Ebay. The lister put up 4 sets, one at a time

and I was only able to snag one of them. Actually I should be glad that she listed them one at a time, since I was able to snag one of them.
chamekke, I just thought they were so cute! Seems that the Japanese have a LOT of "lucky animals." heh. I know the birders love them because they are so hard to spot, it's a rare treat to see them.

Mine would be Taiwanese Oolong

Though the Chinese greens I picked up are delicious, especially jasmine.

Once again, as usual, Japanese for me. I have been that way for a while now. As far as a particular type of Jap. Green......I have been drinking a lot of Matcha and Karigane this month.......and it seems like it is continuing into this month.
*About to ice brew some karigane!

The only new tea that I tasted this month was O-Cha's Yutaka Midori. It was lean and rich with a lingering finish and it made me feel good, so it was my tea of the month. Besides, I have vac-packed all of my good oolongs et al until I have cleaned out the worst of the low-quality oddball leaf that is occupying my tea shelves.
I just got back a few minutes ago from driving 500 miles today, so I've had mostly bag tea. Tazo `Awake' from Starbucks this morning, followed by an Adagio Tie Kuan Yin (I stopped at the next Starbucks and asked them for hot water in a cup). No more tea until I got home a few minutes ago. Ahhh!!! now enjoying a 1993 Xing Xiang cooked pu-erh from the Menghai Factory.

They've got lucky food, too! Kit Kats are quite popular with the test-taking crowd...

And the best tea, this was harder, but the best gyokuro I have ever had had to get the nod, Kame from O-Cha. Why did it take so long to try this? I must have been in some kind of gyokuro denial stage.
It isn't my fault: I have been recommending Kame giru shi for about a year.
True, but I could not understand your Frencha accent.
Matcha from Ryu Mei earlier. SweeTea wanted her share. Out for a bit and hit a bag of the best sencha teabag anywhere imho, Uji teabag from O-Cha.
blah blah blah SENCHA blah blah blah!!!

Based on how much I drank, I would have to say that Lapsang Souchong was my favorite for this month. Part of the reason is that what I have has been around for more than a year now, so I'm trying to use it up. But I also find it's smokey goodness seems to go perfectly with cold weather.
After that it would be a selection of puerhs for second place.
