1.use old gauze to Friction it gently and fresh it only use clean water.

2. after used the teapot, make inside dry, don't let it wet.

3.on the place air circulation, don't package it.

4.not close to many fumes or dust place.

Meaning hand-made but with the use of a mold / form to help shape the pot.

Read the link I posted earlier in this thread:

Shouzhen Duoqiuhu is one of my favorite potter and pattern of all time.

It's so wonderful to see someone of great heritage and history.

Hope to see you more around and enlighten us with greatness of Yixing :)

Argh..how didn't I come to Teachat eariler..

In hopes of greeting and seeing her more around :)

DuoQiu means 3 balls are speared in a row.

Often 3 kinds are mentioned,

First is Daoguang period's Shao Da Heng's

Second is our great Cheng Shou Zhen's

Third is Yu Guo Liang's (can't find the picture)

I always wondered about the clay of ShouZhen DuoQiu (Yixing Zisha Gongyi Chang's). Acclaimed book 中国紫砂茗壶珍赏's Han Qi Lou mentioned, it's made of Tian Qing ni. But the look of it somewhat differs from ZhuGan (pig's liver) color of Tian Qing ni, rather alike of Qing Hui ni.

Is it Tiaosha or have you heard anything from your father? :)[/img]

Needs to be the actual image, not the site where it appears. Right click the image and click properties to see its url.
