Sorry to hear you have been sick, I hope you feel better and have a better day and some good tea tomorrow.auggy wrote:Ditto! I like it though. Yay change!omegapd wrote:Boy, miss a few days here and everything looks different.
Been sick the last couple of days... I think it is a side effect of my sinus and ear infections. Blech. Can barely stomach anything, even tea.
I inadvertently experiment just because I don't have strict requirements about screens, materials, etc for my teaware. It is more if something strikes my fancy.
Spearmint today.

Yes, I guess I've been experimenting some.
Busy day today...haven't had time to look in on the chat till now....big news, Chip has a wife and another Hagi cup! The wife part is interesting, but the cup looks awesome! Chip, I totally "get" what you said about how it performs. It seems as if it would be the perfect sipping size and the lines and the foot would make it feel great in the hand!
This morning I enjoyed Ceylon in my travel mug. Whatever my tea buddy at work brewed was forgettable (since I can't remember it). Late this afternoon Kabusecha. Just a while ago I was going to go for one more steep...put kettle on stove...headed upstairs to help college daughter with something...and I burned the water
!
The whistle wasn't flipped down...not much water in the kettle...by the time we smelled "something funny" upstairs, it was dry, popping and probably wrecked. DH says "oh, I thought I smelled BBQ"
I think I need a new kettle
I hate to spend tea money to replace something that was perfectly fine
After this busy day a bowl of matcha (in my sweet Hagi chawan) would be so nice, but, alas, it is way too late.
I'll catch up with all the news tomorrow.
Take care, All,

Thanks - it's a process. We are trying to heal me w/o antibiotics so it is sort of slow going.Victoria wrote:Sorry to hear you have been sick, I hope you feel better and have a better day and some good tea tomorrow.auggy wrote:Ditto!
