Today I am drinking Rose Red Tea from Tea Gallery - it's a very soothing blend today and I really appreciate it. Quite delicious. (Ladies, did you know that rose petals in tea are also good for us?) In a rose pink cup, no less, on this Good Friday. (Ever see a film called The Long Good Friday? now a gangster classic w/Bob Hoskins & Helen Mirren)
Now see - the first time I brewed this tea I thought it was a bit light and astringent. Now months later it's full of potency and I have to steep very quickly. Honestly, what gives?
As Gertrude Stein might say about a rose: my name is my name is my name is my name!
(Shakespeare of course would tell you that I'd smell as sweet by any other name, but I digress)
In my cup this afternoon Floating Leaves Tea - Li Shan

i'm not a doctor, and i'm no eel. my name is a shortened version of a psuedonym that i use when submitting works to be anonymously critiqued by my english and creative writing classes.
i'm more of the artist than the scientist in most things, tea included.
started with an '04 menghai cake, some hibiki sencha later, then i'm thinking a lighter oolong even later, probably from jing teashop.

Katrina
Just my name. I used to use an alias...but I won't go into that story again this year. Right, Chip?
I wasn't surprised my name wasn't already taken. When I was younger I didn't know anyone else named Katrina. Then it got popular for a few years. Then, well, we all know what happened. I don't think the name will be making a come back any time soon.
A new Ceylon today. I'm still waiting for the one that floors me. This one is pretty good though.

I have been using murrius since I used this as an alternate name on the first computer game I ever played - Civilization II; back in the mid 1990's.
Sencha fuka-midori this morning with a very high possibility of oolong soon. Slight chance of rain with highs in the mid 20s. Film at 11:00.......
Also, midori is a Japanese word for "green". Seems appropriate.

My first name is Jim. A few years ago I had a dream where I was on a bus and a women held up a lottery ticket to me saying "it's 109 stupid!". The next day I bought some things at a store and as I was about to play 109 (I never played this before) someone interupted the cashier and I forgot! Sure enough 109 was the winner that drawing!

HorseNcl was a screen name my Aunt set up for me on our ancient computer when I was younger. I love horses and my name is Nicole so she put the two together. I HATED it at the time but somehow it stuck since I'm far too lazy to inform my friends of a screen name change. It's grown on me since though.

My usual handle ("Ken", and no it's not my name) has been consistently taken most places because of how simple it is. In response, I've adopted using a nickname based off my last name.
Today was especially productive in the oolong department: A nice 6 steep session out of a Huang Jin Gui and I just delved into some Jasmine Pearls.

Anelezel
My screen name is a mush of my first and last names, Anna Ezell. I usually use Anelezel which I like better, but I forgot it for some reason when I was registering.
I drank some vanilla oolong this morning, the first time I've tried oolong, it was pretty good! I brought a tumbler of jasmine tea to work, that went pretty fast. And now I'm drinking some honeybush orange before I go to bed.
Has anyone seen double walled glasses in other places besides online? I really want to get one, and they have cute ones at Starbucks, but they are marked up way high. I really want to get one, I love to see the color of my tea, but not to burn my hands
