Hello Victoria!

Reading back, Lupicia?

Also, I've been looking at Yuuki - interesting, it looks as though all their matcha is organic. Is it good? great?

Hope you are well and at ease.

Cheers.

Still can't find my Lupicia and haven't opened the others.
I guess because I have sooo much new tea on hand now.
I'll get to it soon. I'll try to photograph some in my new
black chawan this weekend.

The Yame from Zencha is yummy.
They sent me a free sample of something else too.
I haven't opened it yet, and it is all in Japanese?
I think it is matcha and not sencha will see soon..
“Take some more tea,” the March Hare said to Alice, very earnestly.
“I’ve had nothing yet,” Alice replied in an offended tone: “so I ca’n’t take more.”
“You mean you ca’n’t take less,” said the Hatter: “it’s very easy to take more than nothing.”

I like it better than kiri no mori from ocha.
I am not a matcha expert however.
I want to try a few more before stepping up in price.

I want to admit I have been a terrible match women lately. I've been so overwhelmed with shincha and gyo that my chasen has been gathering dust...

Hi to Victoria,

Wondering if you have an opinion about the yuuki matcha's yet?

I'm wondering because I've been thinking about ordering some to try.

Hope all's well with you.

Although I'm not Victoria, I have an opinion about the Yuuki Matcha, specifically the Yuuki Midori. This was my first experience with Matcha so I don't anything to compare with, but it's very flavorful. There was a lot of vegetal flavor, and I didn't taste too much bitterness. It's a very intense tea, IMO. Of course, I could have really bad technique and I'm actually messing it up completely.

Hi MT,
Thanks for sharing your experience. All is helpful.

Gives me some pause in my impulse to rush on and get some.

For now I might just get more wakamatsu and horai from Ippodo - both awesome matchas!

And of course I'll keep looking to see what others say here.

cheers!

ps - have you acquired your 0 chawan yet, and if so, how is it?
:D

Not yet! I hope it comes today (it was mailed last Friday via EMS)...but I'm gone this afternoon so even if it did come, I won't see until tonight. I'm super-excited though. BTW, the rice bowl I'm using has about the same measurements (height and width-wise) and I'm kind of surprised about how small my Chawan is. I expected something much bigger, for some reason.
