Ever since I saw this on Den's site, I have wanted to see a better photo of it, so buy it.
I like the rough hewn look of the glass and the bubbles. I am not sure I like the shape. But I could be convinced otherwise.

Well, Pentox, you have painted yourself into the corner on this one. Looks like it's either buy it and post pictures or be banned and banished, reviled, despised and hated.
One hopes that at least it will be the bee's knees and the cat's pajamas.

Immediately after writing the above the Den's Newsletter arrived in my face. It's a matcha bowl ... I say no. As a matcha bowl I don't like it, as a sencha cup I would say yes. Give it a pass. Save us all the grief and disappointment.

It's only 4" diameter. Isn't that a bit awkwardly small for a matcha bowl? Yet it's way too large for any other type of tea. grrrr... if it were the proper size, I'd order it out of curiosity. I've got a $3 credit from the sample kit, plus if I had the 10% off coupon... cheap. But no.

How much is it?
If it's anywhere over $40.... no, it's far too ugly :p

IMHO a lower price doesn't make it any less ugly.
