Why do they need to be split? I'm not alone in enjoying and drinking both, and I prefer to keep track of fewer topics.
This morning, I just finished part two of a session with some Anji white tea (which is really green), and am about to enjoy some HonYama Zairai sencha to finish the morning tea session, in my new ROCK hagi.

Re: What GREEN are you currently drinking?
+1 I'm also following the pu of the day thread, so prefer not to split the green thread.
Today's green was an educational session with Den's Gyokuro Sumei. I'm experimenting with brewing gyokuro in my small Tea Gallery gaiwan before I open the new gyokuros from O-Cha.debunix wrote:Why do they need to be split? Yeah Chip! You had better go through all 33 pages of posts sort and divide!bagua7 wrote:It would be nice if Chip could split this thread into two:
1. What JAPANESE GREEN are you currently drinking?
2. What CHINESE GREEN are you currently drinking?
That would make it easy for everyone to follow this thread without having to juggle between the two.

Re: What GREEN are you currently drinking?
I'm currently finishing my first cup of Shohokuen "midori no kaori" sencha...

First time steeping sakura sencha, from O-Cha. Interesting, but not something I would buy again, unless I find a better way to brew it. Followed it up with a another successful Tsuen Otsuusan sencha from O-Cha. I also bought 2 different gyokuros, but I'm saving those until my gyokuro shiboridashi set arrives next week.

O-cha's YM Kaoru Supreme, I really need to finish it up its starting to fade.
Re: What GREEN are you currently drinking?
Asatsuyu then Kawane from Maryama-en, teashop in Tokyo. Both were incredible, among the best sencha I ever had.

Inspired by Chinesepottery, my wife and I set out to forage wild tea in the woods by our house in Louisiana. No luck after a weekend of searching, but we'll get after it again next weekend. I'm sure we will be rewarded with a little persistence.
