how come those custom f-ers sometimes break up the cakes and sometime don't? and sometimes open up the shipping box and sometimes dont?

Yup! Got it in PG, but possibly could be a imitation cake... ehehe... but anyway, for the price I'm paying, fake or not... it does taste good.. so.. I'll use it for a daily drinker and also as a treat to visitors who can't differentiate between them.

Just wanted to say HI (I'm new to this forum) and show off my new item. Got it from a friend who recently returned back from China. She says it's 12 y.o. so I guess the year is 1997, and the label says it's
Tong Xing factory. Unfortunately, there is no real way to tell the age, right? Obviously, it's not on the label.
Since I know nothing about that company, does anyone here know any facts. I searched online and it looks like it's very reputable factory and it's mid 90s cakes go for over $150...
Anyways, here the pics and let me know what you think...

From looks alone, I have the same exact cake. Its a 400g. ripe 2005 cake. I got mine from puerhshop.com for about $12. I could be wrong but I can take a picture of mine if you want.
The cake itself is sold out but there is a 2006 brick still there, I dont know if its helps at all but heres the link anyways.

This looks to me like a cake of shu pu'er made within the last five years. That's just my opinion, and I'm in no way an expert so take it with a grain of salt.
