The foot is interesting. It attempts to be as much like a regular styled foot as it can try I imagine. Being glass though it's difficult to get a good hold on since it is a smooth surface and lacks the gripability of a rough clay foot. If the bowl were any larger I would say that it would be an issue, but it's just about the right size for me to comfortably hold it and not worry about it.

Nice!

This looks a lot like one of my chawan, which I was told has a kinyo glaze. As I've been able to discover, kinyo is a copper glaze whose colour is in the pearl/grey/lavender range.

Would you mind sharing the source? I'd love to learn more about this bowl.
