Just lovely! I think they are just stickers - as a matter of fact I used them to judge the size of the cups when I looked at them all together on his page.
Those I think are the "moon white" I have two of the "celeste" on the way! Should be here tomorrow!

Now that would be even better! I definitely use bowls and cups with sentimental value more often, it enhances the tea drinking experience overall.

Huh, I didn't really think it did look much like icing. It's the glossiness that makes me think otherwise. It's sooo glossy it just makes me wonder. Combined with the rust color it makes me just want to touch it and hold it.

Brandon, I agree, that is a beautifully shaped cup. Nice matte surface, too. Understated and handsome.

It sure does. As you may have guessed by now, I have a taste for the understated, earthy in ceramics, but aside from Yixing pots, I have an easier time finding this quality in my Japanese wares than Chinese. I am still searching for the perfect cha hai, for example. Glass and porcelain do not blend nicely with my other pieces, and I have yet to see a yixing cha hai that looked worth buying.

Some Etsy finds. The first one (the chawan) is quite a bit out of my price range. One of second two (big cups) could be family wish-list material though...
