One of my samples from IShopO. I didn't care for the light one, but this darker roast is nice.

Will have to try their dark roast Dong Ding sometime.
Had the Honey Crane Green today. Strong flavor but not overly to my taste.

Right just got some of this

http://www.wanlingteahouse.com/product. ... pring_2010

jiu jiu jiu TGY.

I'm upping how much I spend on tea at the moment and can say I'm very impressed with this. I got a sinking cold at the moment and its a sunday morning. I had no decent tea and the nice old man who takes my parcels across the road tapped on my door at 9am this morn with a tiny box. Yay.

As I said I got a terrible cold but thought I'd boot some up anyway.

Can't really taste much  but I can feel the smoothness, soft rounded and an apple like freshness. Also I'm up to brew number 6 and its still pretty much as good as a few brews back.

My 2 year old is currently enjoying the 6th brew.

Bai Hao from Hou De. Not impressed with this batch. I've had a few sessions with it now, and find it rather lacking in aroma, and the flavor is very subdued. I've certainly had much better in years past. Glad I only purchased 2 ounces.

Postcard Teas Old Bush (Wuyi) Shuixian - excellent. Complex, no roast flavor. But not cheap....

Back to an old standard: classic roast TGY from The Tea Gallery.

Last of the bag of some Ali Shan from CS, one of their more reliable teas. The tea is a bit faded now and tastes more like a baozhong.

2009 Autumn Fo Shou from houde

found description on site is pretty spot on except instead of medium/high roasting I would call it high

I'm not really a big consumer of heavily roasted oolong, but this one is pleasant for me to break out every once in a while

mellow is the key word
instead of focusing on in your face flavours this tea is all about subtlety and textures

highlights for me are the super smooth thick body, and that very pleasant slight acidity, heats up the body nicely too
