The inside is very cool.
Actually, this was the only few mins. of light today.
I'll get some rippers tomorrow

How do you find all these Vic? I'm extremely jealous of your ability to procure such interesting tea wares.Victoria wrote:Ahhh now that it is fall, almost winter, a new summer bowl has arrived. And per usual, it spent more time getting from my local post office to my house, than from Japan to the USA. Then in my excitement to get the package open I cut through one of the ties on the tomobako. Oy.
It is so beautiful, very thin porcelain, a joy to behold and to hold.
I couldn't wait for matcha, I christened it this morning with Darjeeling.

I found this one on Rikyu. Interestingly, I didn't see it when it was first posted, so I almost hyperventilated when I saw it back on page 4 at the time. Ack!! I do have a love for fine porcelain as you know, and a porcelain summer bowl, was a fantastic find!Trioxin wrote: How do you find all these Vic? Neither a pot nor a cup, but I'm glad to share my latest pitcher bought last month.

Handmade and handpainted jingdezhen pitcher, custom ordered from Jerry. It's thin, so it helps to cool down the tea pretty quickly
