To all TA SO Participants,
I would like to express my sincere thanks for your participation in my "In Praise of Shadows" offering, your support is greatly appreciated. Also, thank you to all that took the time to photo your pieces in situ and for posting here along with your comments and reactions. Always rewarding to see my works being used as intended.
One last time, Thanks Chip for allowing me this opportunity.

One question that I'll put out here: the display base is very tempting to use as a coaster. But the feet are not going to be kind to a plastic laminate desktop, counter, or wooden table. Does anyone use stands like this for daily use, and if so, how do you keep them from shredding your eating/drinking/work surface?

Try it and find out.
Fortunately I can set them onto a butcher block table.

We ceremoniously performed the TA SO drawing for the Tokkuri and Guinomi this morning. We had 13 people and 18 chances.
The winner is Abracadaver.
I will pack and ship his winnings Tuesday morning the 17th of August.
Thanks again Chip, it was fun.
Michael
Congratulations Abracadaver! You are the proud owner of this incredible sake set!
