Great pictures, Chip! Here's some pictures of mine, first with some pictures of an asamushi from the OTTI 7/8:
Then a picture of how it looked after that asamushi (only 4 steeps). Wow!
And finally, I was drinking a fukamushi today and noticed that the fine powder had gathered not unlike the way the sand gathers on the ocean floor. And with the crackling visible as well, I thought it was like a fukamushi ocean! The color didn't turn out so well on it, though.
It's a great cup!

Pyrit was a rescue and nearly blind in that eye, thus her name is Pyrit. I believe the light is reflecting on the remaining scarring which is slightly opaque.
Hope to see the KyTempest soon!

Wow, it seems to be even more beautiful than I thought it was going to be, judging from the latest pictures you guys posted.
Can't wait to have mine. It's still stuck in customs and it seems like I'm gonna have to pick it up myself this time..
