There's a snowdrift in my hand. 'Tis lovely. It seems to be a left-hander, which is fine with me. It stands on its chop side when not being held.
Pic to share:
Yay!

Very cool Cyn! I love the
snowdrift on my hand comment, like you are a mighty goddess!
Left vesus right. The left hand, there is less resistance. The right hand is met with some resistance. Like the opposing forces of nature. Perhaps this is intentional ... along with the "yin/yang" in the center of the kuodai?

The post office was supposed to close at 1:00
but due to the holiday they closed 12:00.
I could here 'em in there rustling around and all.
but they wouldn't let me in.
So no Hagi for me till next year.
All Hagi SOs not received in 2010 are turned over to the Hagi SO coordinator!

It feels fine in the right hand, but more "at home" in the left. The swirl on the inside looks much like our yard did during this week's blizzard.

Special delivery man showed up with a package from Japan!!
Should be my Snowdrift, but have to wait for DH Ed to open it; my hands aren't strong enough to do it!!

But he'll be here soon!!
Lovely photos of those already received. Don't hold your breath for pics from me; I'm not good about that.

Ya gotta love a small town,
I just got a call, "you guys home, I got a package here?"
Only in a great lil' town.
May be a day before pics but it's nice.
Rugged yet elegant at the same time.

Has anyone seen the beginnings of crackling yet? I sort of anticipated a rapid reaction on this one, but after using it all day, it is still a pristine white with no crackling at all. Its a great size, perfect fit for my hand, and a pleasure to use so far.
